My first sabbat fast approaches and my anticipation grows greatly my altar is nice and decorated and ready for my beltane fires to be ignited...beltane according to pagan tradition is a time of celebration for it marks the sexual union of god and goddess if you read mists of avalon this book goes deeply into what the rituals used to entail. anyways it is a time for rebirth and the letting go of inhibitions it is also the time where spring ends and the beginning of summer is celebrated i will not be on next week so this is my last post till next month i appologize in advance for i must meditate and memorize my chants for this momentous occasion i wish everyone reading this a happy and joyous beltane
